This morning event begins at 5:30 AM on Wednesdays
Members attending this event at the Bolles School are required to remain COVID compliant throughout their stay.
Note: To avoid sweat, breath, and spit from other runners while on the track, you must maintain 6 feet of side-by-side and 10 feet of front-to-back distances.
- Masks MUST be worn except during the warmup or track intervals.
- Maintain at least 6 feet distance between you and others.
- Avoid touching your face.
- Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
- Stay home if you feel unwell.
Registration as a member of JTC Running (unless you are already a current member) is required prior to registering for the new Wednesday Morning and Evening Workout Groups.
Registration for this morning event must be completed online at least a day prior to the event in order to be listed on the Bolles event roster when you arrive at the school.
Persons who are not on the morning roster will not be permitted on the track or the campus. When registering, note that the ‘trial membership’ option has been removed, meaning that no non-members are permitted.
This group meets Wednesdays between 5:30 and 6:00 am to warm up for the track and distance workouts. Track workouts begin at 6:00 am.
You must present your Drivers’ License to the Bolles security guard for security purposes prior to your first night's workout. The security guard will run your Drivers’ License through the Raptor program (a sexual predator data base). Please allow 10 minutes for processing.
Park in the parking lot outside the chain link fence on the south end of the big parking lot. Once you exit the vehicle, you MUST wear a mask and maintain a 6' social distances until you begin your workouts.
Warmups, cooldowns, and intervals will be done on the track.
Meet on the track using social distancing at 5:50 am to check in with the coach; the coach will review the rules that must be followed for safety purposes, followed by a description of the intervals. Each runner should choose a spot at the fence 6 feet from another spot to place personal items such as hydration, towels, masks, etc.
Please note that the workouts are geared towards adults. Registrants age fifteen and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the session.
