This morning event occurs between 6:00 am and 7:00 am on Wednesdays.
Members attending this event are required to observe existing Bolles School visitors’ rules (comportment, COVID and/or other requirements) during their stay.
You must be a registered member of JTC Running prior to registering for the Bolles Wednesday Morning Workout Group event.
Registration for the morning event must be completed online at least 18 hours prior to the event in order to be listed on the interval event roster when you arrive at the school. The registration is good for all remaining weeks of the year, ending in December. Persons who are not on the morning event roster will not be permitted on the track.
This group meets Wednesdays between 5:30 and 6:00 am on the Bolles track to sign in and warm up. Track workouts begin on the track at 6:00 am.
You may be asked for your Drivers’ License by the Bolles entrance security guard prior to any morning's workout. The security guard might scan your Drivers’ License through the Raptor program (a sexual predator data base) to be sure you meet security requirements.
Park in the parking lot close the chain link fence on the south end of the big parking lot (take the 2nd left turn inside the campus; the baseball field will be adjacent on the left as you drive into the lot). Walk from there to the track; the bright stadium lights will show the way. The parking spaces are assigned to students or staff, but we have permission to park there as long as we vacate the area by 7:20 am. Please be ready to depart the campus by then.
Warm up runs generally take place on the Bolles Track, running clockwise on the outer lanes prior to 6:00 am. Cooldown runs may also be done on the track.
Meet with the coach on the track not later than 6:00 am. A JTC Running track administrator should be there with a check-in sheet for you to initial. The administrator will inform you of any new or expected changes in campus rules or procedures, matters related to members and events, then give a description of the intervals. Runners may place personal items such as hydration, towels, masks, etc. along the fence near the starting line. Rest rooms are available under the stadium seating area.
Please note that the workouts are geared towards adults. Registrants age fifteen and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the session.
